One evening, a bunch of friends and myself were playing the Eye Toy for PS2. One of our favourite minigames was the Kung Foo Minigame. As you can see from the video you needed to defend from various ninjas and other..weird things.
From about 2:30 in the video, you can see one of the enemies throwing, what looks like a rice bowl at you. We didn't quite realise they were rice bowls as we have had a little bit to drink and one of my friends yelled out, "look out for the flying biscuits!".
So years later when I started drawing my cartoons, the name stuck and the rest is history :)
So, in reality the origin of the name isn't all that interesting. But it does make me want some biscuits and a cuppa.
