Tired ramblings of a quasi-rebellious, faux-jaded old man trapped inside a young-ish body.

42. Culling Half-Life Creatures? Yeah, Man!
Gordon Freeman is not amused.
After crashing through Half Life 2, of course you start looking up the disturbing Easter Eggs and noticing how "human" the headcrab zombie speech is due to the, sometimes unintelligible, yelling that they do.
Many dispute what they actually say, have a look at this youtube video to get a better idea. At 0:10, I am convinced that they yell "YEAH, MAN!!!!! MY ICING!!! GAAAWWWWWWWWD!!!! HEEEELLLLLP MEEEE!"
Forever after noticing this, the headcrab zombies are known as the Yeahmans to me :) So, are all the headcrab zombies just brodudes, frat boys and lads?
I hope so, it makes killing them even more satisfying! :P

Taking a little break
Hi all!
Just a little break, I am in the middle of drawing my friends as Adventure Time characters, getting the Half Life strip I've been trying to finish for the last 4 months :P and finally getting #MoltenCrazy started.
I aim to post 100 panels before the end of the year :) I may include some older stuff I have previously scanned in.
It is quite exciting though. 440 views since I started this page and even Alex Woolfson enjoyed the little strip I did for him. Holy shit, man! :D

40. Arrival, New Arrival
Remember I posted yesterday that Ryan was going through an extraordinary change? Will this is it: things were difficult for him for a while and it all came to a head. I was there as much as possible, considering the distance between us. Questioning your sexuality is one thing, questioning your gender is quite another and that is precisely what happened. Finally, he reached that moment where he finally came out as transgender. I could not be more happy for her, when she could finally be happy with who she is. She was not happy as a male, she wanted to be a woman. Ryan is now Joni, and she is happier than she ever has been before :)
Godspeed, you amazing individual :)
Definitely one of the most difficult things I have drawn, it still brings a tear to my eye.
Note to Joni:
This has been undoubtedly the most difficult Biscuit I have ever drawn. I was afraid of overstepping a boundary, projecting too much of my own experience coming out, or that it would just make you angry. Being the neurotic fuck that I am I was petrified of what you would think.
During the train back home, 3 songs came up on shuffle. "Oats We Sow" and "Boats & Birds" by Gregory & the Hawk, and "Kawaii" by Devin Townsend (see the links below). They brought tears to my eyes as I thought about what you must have gone through in your life to finally reach that point you could finally be your true self. It had been a long time since I have seen you that comfortable. I broke my own rule when I first "met" you! Never add a Facebook friend whom you've never met or don't know well. I am fucking glad I did.
A kind, loyal, complex person with intelligence to match and a big heart (mush!). And quite good looking, too! :)
Over the last 2 years you have become a close and personal friend. This doesn't really happen for me as I don't really allow it sometimes. Letting my guard down to allow strangers into my life brings an unfathomable amount of anxiety.
We have supported each other as much as we can considering the distance. We grew fond of each other and bonded over Börk :) I loved your confidence and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable around you. Even complete strangers. You truly deserve the best for the amazing person that you are.

39. Dreaming Sweetly
Another text from Ryan telling me he was strutting down the street listening to the Eurythmics song, Sweet Dreams. He looks so happy and fabulous, doesn't he? :)
Even Annie Lennox looks positively megalomaniacal!
The next post will depict an extraordinary development in Ryan's life. I think it's important to show it as Ryan will be appearing regularly and I was given permission to post it on this site :) I hope you guys will like it, it's my best and most difficult strip I've had to draw to date.

38. Ryan's Bath Time
I was texting and instant messaging with Ryan a while ago, he told me he was in the bath with his laptop, a glass of wine and a cigarette. He told me he was "totally winning" :P
So I just had to draw him doing this. He loved it :) So, I WIN!!

37. Silly Anxieties - Epilogue / Fuzzy Face MakedGoodFeelNice
Even simple things like this has made me feel anxietal. Doesn't happen a lot, in all honesty Dave has the king of all beards. It's magnificent, it's so nice and soft and he does actually purr when you stroke it. Me and my buds (those who have beards) we share affection by giving each other beard rubs. It's nice :) It's a nice form of "bromance", and we all purr :P
Hehe, nothing like a bit of man love between friends :)
I am growing mine out even more 'cause I'm going for the Khal Drogo look.
36. Silly Anxieties - Comfy Heads
There is one more anxiety strip to edit which will be tomorrow's treat :P
I do in fact feel that small when I encounter certain people. Bad experiences can trigger that, you know. Plus, Dave has one comfy head to snuggle on, not as comfy as Kuro's head :3

35. Bullies @ Work
We had a colleague from hell in one of the many office jobs I have had. Doom-Ghost is giving him his comeuppance. Which is just him chasing people, because he can't do more than that.
I don't want to give the impression I was a lazy employee, in fact I was that good at my job they didn't want me to leave! How ironic considering how much I hate that particular organisation.
34. Silly Anxieties - The LAD Storm
I'm not bored in the first panel, that's my default expression. Imagine this playing in the background of that last panel.

New Things To Try
In November I was given a type of drawing pad that connects to the computer like a mouse for my birthday. I also use a mouse scanner to scan in those small images that I draw. Once I have uploaded all of the strips I have already scanned in and titled (and so on, and so forth), any new ones I make I will scan in as normal, but re-draw the images using GIMP.
Thus, making it easier to copy and paste certain expressions I have trouble with. The main one is the cute/sad eyes in the anime style (also seen a lot in Adventure Time :3).
Any tips? Ideas are welcome.

33. The Only One?
My friend, Dave, and are very close friends and are not afraid to say that we love each other :)
Friendship holds the same principles of trust, loyalty and mutual affection as does relationships for couples. Many people don't realise this. It's another oldie, but I love it and I love the guy :)
Hey, you checked out his music? Have a listen at his rendition of Devin Townsend's Ih-Ah! song :)

31. Blue Hair
One the first day, I couldn't stop singing this beautiful song from the 90s. Remember it? I'll post up a picture of my hair later today :)
Update 12/04/2014: Sorry for the delay, here's the wonderful picture.

30. Silly Anxieties - Prologue
Doom-Ghost and Llamamuerte are so delightfully camp ^_^
Llamamuerte cannot stomach certain souls, either :( Poor thing.
I decided to make a series of cartoons depicting moments of anxieties in situations. It would help to put a humorous spin on them as I finally lay some of them to rest :) Enjoy! If not, tough titties.

28. ARGH!
Continuing with anxiety related panels, I'll be posting a little saga called "Silly Anxieties". I am also in the transition of making a new anxiety related saga called #MoltenCrazy, penned by the delightful Elliot Reid from Scrubs. It's a bit difficult as they are based from some tweets of mine that were just, well to put it bluntly, insane.
So from a 160 character rant to a nicely drawn Biscuit? No easy task :P
